Refund & Returns Policy

At Murray’s Fly Shop, we’ve been serving anglers since May 2, 1962. We believe in straightforward service and fair treatment. If there’s an issue with your order, we’re here to help.

Returns

You may return most items within 30 days of the original purchase date for a refund or exchange, subject to the conditions below.

  • Items must be unused, unworn, and in original condition
  • Items must be returned in their original packaging
  • Proof of purchase is required

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable or digital products
  • Used items, including but not limited to waders, boots, flies, rods, reels or any product showing signs of wear

Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, you must notify us within 5 days of delivery. We will evaluate the issue and, at our discretion, provide a replacement, repair, or refund.


Rod Warranty

Used rods that break are typically not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. Customers must follow the warranty instructions provided by the manufacturer.

Please do not return used rods directly to Murray’s Fly Shop. If you need assistance, contact us and we will help guide you through the warranty process.


Sale Items

All sale items are final sale and are not eligible for refund or exchange unless defective.


Gifts

If you received an item as a gift and need to exchange it, please contact us. We will work with you to find a suitable replacement or provide store credit where applicable.


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or incorrect

Exchanges

We replace items only if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item, please contact us to arrange the exchange.


Shipping Returns

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (defective or incorrect item).

We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We are not responsible for returns lost in transit.

Murray’s Fly Shop reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time without prior notice.
