This is an excellent surface bass bug for large fish in both rivers and lakes from May until October. Dress these with Scientific Anglers Dry Fly Floatant and fish them very close to the edge of aquatic grass beds with a slow twitching action. These have long wings so in order to prevent twisting my leader I use my Murray's Bass Bug Hand Tied Knotted 9ft 1X leader.
