Orvis Recon 763-4 Fly Rod and Reel Outfit

This 3-weight Recon fly rod has great power making it very versatile for both long and short casts. The tip is fine enough to accurately present size 24 flies on 7X whereas the butt is firm enough to fish size 8 streamers. This is great for hopper-dropper rigs on small to medium size streams.  This would work well for the native brook trout streams in the Shenandoah National Park.
