SMALLMOUTH BASS STREAMS FLY FISHING REPORT APRIL 11, 2021

The North and South Forks of the Shenandoah River are High and Muddy

The Shenandoah Valley received an inch or so of rain over the last 12 hours.  This has brought the river levels up.  If you are itching to get out, the farther North you can get and the earlier today (4/11/21) will provide your best chance at finding fishable water.  The high water is on the way North as I write this.  This image is East of Woodstock, VA. Check the USGS Streamflow gauges for the most recent water levels.  The good news is that this water will move through quickly and the river should be back in shape in 5-6 days.
