Delayed Harvest and Large Stocked Trout Streams: "Big flies attract big trout" is a good ploy to fish large streamers deeply in the large pools in the streams such as Big Cedar Creek, Big Stoney Creek and the lower part of North Creek. Excellent flies for this fishing is Shenk's Black Sculpin size 8, Spuddler Streamer size 8 and Shenk's White Steamer size 8. If the current is very fast, I use a Scientific Anglers Sonar Sink Tip III Sinking Tip Fly Line with a Murray's Fluorocarbon 6 foot Sinking Line Leader.
