There are presently heavy hatches of Epeorus pleuralis mayflies from noon until dusk in the upper sections of the mountain trout streams. The Mr. Rapidan Parachute size 14 and Spirit of Pittsford Mills size 14 are great at this time. If you hit these streams in the morning, the Mr. Rapidan Emerger size 14 and Mr. Rapidan Olive Soft Hackle Nymph size 14 are great fished upstream below the riffles.
