Update: The Mountain Trout Streams are fishing well in the upper sections of the streams. Good flies are the Murray's Flying Beetle size 14 and size 16, Spirit of Pittsford Mills size 14 and size 16, and Mr. Rapidan Dry Ant size 16 and size 18.
Original Post - August 14, 2018 - The Headwater Streams in the National Forest and National Park are fishable if you come into the streams from the trail heads on the top of the mountain.
