Mountain Trout Streams Fly Fishing Report - March 5, 2020

The streams are warming gradually and the Epeorus pleuralis nymphs are growing and becoming more active. Fish the Mr. Rapidan Bead Head Nymph size 12 and 14 upstream so they land right below the riffle. I prefer to use a Trout Nymph Leader 9ft 5X. Fish these back downstream with a slow rod lifting motion while watching the Scientific Anglers Indicator on the leader for the strike.
