The extra rains and cool nights are helping us get great mountain trout fishing especially in the small feeder streams and in the upper sections of the streams close to the top of the mountains. My change of pace flies are producing many of our largest trout. These are the Murray's Yellow Jacket, Housefly, Horsefly, Oakworm, Mr. Rapidan Midge and Inchworm. Fish these in the pool corners if the stream is high and on the lips as the streams drop.
