Smallmouth Bass and Trout Streams Fly Fishing Report - May 14, 2025

The stream report is going to be very easy this week. Our area received around 5 inches of rain in a 12 hour period.  The Shenandoah River (both North & South Fork) are high and muddy.  Passage Creek in Fort Valley is high and muddy.  Big Stoney Creek west of Edinburg is high and muddy.  The Shenandoah National Park streams will have some heavy run-off especially in the lower boundaries. I would suggest waiting about two days and then head into the upper access of the streams off the Skyline Drive to get above the extra water.  (Picture above is of the North Fork of the Shenandoah River at 8:30am on 5/14/25)
