Smallmouth Bass Streams Fly Fishing Report- June 10, 2020

When the smallmouth rivers get slightly discolored from rains the bass feed boldly on the shiner minnows on the gravel bars. They just seem willing to crash these areas in low light. The Murray's Heavy Shiner size 6 is very effective fished where the gravel bars taper off to the water 3 to 4 feet deep.

Update for June 10--The South Fork has dropped and is clear and fishable.

Update June 10--The North Fork is in beautiful shape, clear and fishable..

Above a view of the muddy water on the North Fork working its way from Edinburg downstream.
