Smallmouth Bass Streams Fly Fishing Report - June 10, 2026
Share
Both the North Fork and South Fork of the Shenandoah River are clear and fishable. The North Fork is great for wading from Mount Jackson to Strasburg. The South Fork is recommended for floating and wading. Bixler Bridge downstream to Fosters Landing are some good areas to fish. Early morning and late evening are the best hours to fish, when the sun is off the water. Water temperatures are around 72-75 degrees. Wet wading with Korkers All Axis shoes or Korkers Greenback Wading Boots (with Neoprene Guard Socks) is recommended.
