The North Fork of the Shenandoah River is warm enough for the smallmouth bass to feed on the surface. I am doing well with the Shenandoah Sunfish Slider size 6, Shenandoah Blue Popper size 6 and Shenandoah Chartreuse Chugger size 4. On the North Fork of the Shenandoah River the water upstream from access point #19 (Covered Bridge) is excellent. The South Fork of the Shenandoah River is too high for good fishing.
