Smallmouth Bass Streams Fly Fishing Report - September 19, 2019

Recommended Flies: Fishing a Murray's Floating Dace Minnow for a Floating Chub Minnow size 4 or 6 in the tails of the pools has been providing some good fishing. The Murray's Crayfish size 6 fished along the cobblestone bottoms has been doing well. The water temperature has been running around 72 degrees so bring your waders.

 Stream Conditions:

The North Fork of the Shenandoah River is low, clear and fishable. Downstream from access #3 (Burnshire) on the North Fork has been doing well.  Wade slow and carefully so you do not spook the fish.

The South Fork of the Shenandoah River is low, clear and fishable. Upstream from access #13 (Fosters) has been productive.  For all public access, check out our marked map in the fly shop.
