A good way to easily cover large sections of these streams is to fish them down and across stream with streamers which match the natural minnows the trout feed on. Three of my most effective streamers at this time of year are the Murray's Pearl Marauder size 10, Shenandoah Skunk Streamer size 10 and Betsy Streamer size 8.
Big Stoney Creek is clear and fishable. Passage Creek in Fort Valley is still murky but should be clear enough to fish by the weekend.
