The springs which enter these streams enrich them greatly by pulling the pH down and producing great numbers of cress bugs. These are easy to locate since they are warmer than the streams thus melting the ice which forms on the stream in colder weather. Also you can spot these springs by the rich green weed growth that is around them. The Cress Bug in sizes 14 & 16 will work well in these areas.
I've developed some new Tungsten Bead Marauders with a slightly different body style which are outstanding in the water below the springs and especially for Euro nymphing. They are available in size 10 in black, olive, and pearl color.
