Rains from last week have raised many of these streams and dislodged lots of minnows making it easy for the trout to feed upon them.
Effective streamers that match these minnows are the Shenandoah Silver Ghost, Shenandoah Skunk and Shenandoah Nine-Three all in size 10. Fish these right below the riffles and in the deep pools by stripping them 6 inches every 10 seconds.
