Stocked Trout Streams Fly Fishing Report - November 5, 2020

Some anglers have trouble with a two-fly rig like I discussed last week getting twisted when they are casting. They easy way to prevent this problem is to make a powerful low back cast and a high forward presentation cast. The two fly rig with a Murray's Marauder Pearl size 10 streamer on the tippet of the leader with a Mr. Rapidan Soft Hackle (olive) Nymph size 12 on a 24 inch 4X dropper below it.

The DWR is stocking many streams throughout the state with nice rainbows.  The local trout streams such as Big Stoney Creek in Edinburg and Passage Creek in Fort Valley were stocked about a month ago.  The streams are low and clear so be careful with your wading that you do not spook the fish.
