The Skyline Drive has been closed in the Shenandoah National Park due to inclement weather so if you are planning a trip to the Park, check their website or social media post for updates on road closures. As of this report, mile post 0-65 has reopened. The native brook trout streams are cold so don't expect alot of action.
Prime Time to Fish for the Native Brook Trout is April & May when the hatches and water levels are ideal. Which is why we conduct our fly fishing schools during April and May. Spring 2026 Dates are open for registration! Click links below for more information.
