Trout Streams Fly Fishing Report - November 6, 2025

The VA DWR continues to stock streams with rainbows, browns and some tiger trout. Check their website for the latest streams that were stocked. Mill Creek and Tomahawk Pond in Shenandoah County were just stocked this week. All of the local streams are low and clear so wade carefully. Big Stoney Creek west of Edinburg was just stocked 11/6/25

- Copper John, Zebra size 16, 18
- Mr. Rapidan Soft Hackle Nymph Olive size 16
- Rubber Leg Nymph, Brown size 8

The brook trout are spawning, therefore I do not recommend fishing the native brook trout streams in the Shenandoah National Park at this time.
