The natural Blue Quill mayfly is a wonderful heavy hatch in the mountain trout streams and the trout feed heavily upon them. The dark color of the popular Blue Quill pattern makes it difficult for us to see on the stream. To solve this problem, I've put the yellow wings of our Mr. Rapidan on this new blue quill pattern. Now we can see the fly and still land many trout.
