Large Trout Streams Fly Fishing Report UPDATE- August 12, 2017

Murray's Olive Magic Caddis Pupa, Murray's Dark Miracle Stonefly Nymph and Murray's Professor Nymph
Local Trout Streams such as Big Stoney Creek west of Edinburg and Passage Creek in Fort Valley are muddy from the heavy rains received last evening.  They will take a few days to clear.
I am often altered to streambottom springs by the cool water that flows over my legs as I wade the streams. I mentally mark these areas carefully. Then the next time I am on that stream I fish below these cool springs with flies such as the Murray's Olive Magic Caddis Pupa size 14, Murray's Dark Miracle Stonefly Nymph size 14 and Murray's Professor Nymph size 14.
