Local Trout Streams such as Big Stoney Creek west of Edinburg and Passage Creek in Fort Valley are muddy from the heavy rains received last evening. They will take a few days to clear.
I am often altered to streambottom springs by the cool water that flows over my legs as I wade the streams. I mentally mark these areas carefully. Then the next time I am on that stream I fish below these cool springs with flies such as the Murray's Olive Magic Caddis Pupa size 14, Murray's Dark Miracle Stonefly Nymph size 14 and Murray's Professor Nymph size 14.
