We've been getting a few rain showers this week but not enough to cause problems on the Shenandoah River. Both the North Fork and South Fork of the Shenandoah River are clear and fishable. Water levels are on the low side and temperatures are running around 76 to 81 degrees. The bass are very wary with the crystal clear water so wade carefully. Fish around shady banks, downed trees and grass beds that offer some protection for the smallmouth. Late evening or early morning are best.
