January Stocked Trout Fly Special
These streams throughout the East have a great midge hatch. Frequently the heaviest hatches are the last two hours of the day but stay alert because they can occur any time of the day. If the trout are feeding on the adult midges, you'll see a dimple rise-form where the trout actually suck the midge in. If you see a splashy riseform, the trout is taking the merging midge as he heads for the surface.
