November Bass Fly Special
This is the time of year you can either catch a few large bass or get skunked. The water temperature is dropping and the bass are in the deep pools and their metabolism is slowing down. I seek them in the deep pools where there are slow to moderate currents where they can easily feed on large minnows while exerting minimal efforts. Sometimes by floating you can get access to the deeper pools in the river that you normally wouldn't get by wading. A sinking tip fly line helps you get your flies down deep. The different styles in the Murray's Magnum Streamer series are productive in these areas.
