Renzetti Game Changer Jaws: The Ultimate Articulated Streamer Upgrade
Tying high-performance articulated flies just got faster, easier, and more precise. Developed in exclusive collaboration between Renzetti and legendary fly designer Blane Chocklett, the Game Changer Jaws for the Traveler Vise are the gold standard for tiers who demand perfection in movement and profile.
Standard jaws were never meant for the complexity of modern articulated patterns. After tying thousands of flies, Blane Chocklett and Andy Renzetti engineered this purpose-built solution to eliminate the frustration of tying multi-section streamers.
Why the Game Changer Jaws are a Bench Essential
If you’re serious about bass, musky, or trophy trout, you know that the "Game Changer" style of fly requires specific angles and clearance. This jaw set is custom-contoured to handle the unique demands of shanks and hooks used in articulated patterns.
-
Engineered for Articulation: Specifically designed to provide superior access to the hook shank and segments, making material transition between sections seamless.
-
Blane Chocklett Approved: Designed by the man who pioneered the Game Changer movement—this is the exact tool used to create the industry's most lifelike flies.
-
Enhanced Hook & Shank Control: Provides rock-solid stability for both hooks and articulated shanks, preventing "slippage" during heavy thread wraps.
-
Traveler Vise Compatibility: Designed to swap easily onto your Renzetti Traveler Series, instantly upgrading your setup into a specialized streamer station.
Tie Faster, Fish Harder
Whether you are building massive 8-segment musky flies or finesse bass changers, these jaws optimize your workflow:
-
Improved Tool Clearance: The tapered profile allows your bobbin to get closer to the hook for tighter, cleaner wraps.
-
Maximum Versatility: While optimized for Game Changers, these jaws excel at any pattern requiring advanced material manipulation.
-
Made in the USA: Precision-machined for lifelong durability and the smooth operation Renzetti is known for.
