The 8'3" and 9' 5-weight PURE2 are well suited for western trout streams such as the Yellowstone and Madison Rivers, as well as small to medium-sized freestone streams and spring creeks. Choose the 8'3" when you want a little more maneuverability, or the 9' when reach, line control, and mending are more important.

How to Order: Please select your Reeling Hand preference.

Reeling Hand: Select the hand you use to crank the fly reel. The other hand will hold the rod. Choose Left or Right.

If you plan to put the fly line on the reel yourself after your outfit arrives, select “No Line on My Reel.” We will ship the reel, fly line, and backing separately, without the line or backing being spooled onto the reel.
