Murray's Miracle Yellow Stonefly Nymph,Murray's Little Yellow Stonefly Dry and Little Yellow Stonefly Dry.  Mountain Trout Streams: There are many natural little yellow stoneflies along our mountain trout streams now and the trout are feeding very heavily upon them. An effective tactic is to drift a nymph or dry fly along the mossy covered boulders and you will catch many large trout. Effective flies are the Murray's Little Yellow Stonefly Dry size 16, Murray's Miracle Yellow Stonefly Nymph size 16 and Little Yellow Stonefly Dry size 16.

Bass Fishing Report -

Murray's Heavy Olive Hellgrammite, Murray's Heavy Brown Hellgrammite and Murray's Heavy Black Hellgrammite.  Smallmouth Bass Streams: The natural hellgrammites are very active in the riffles now and the large bass are feeding heavily upon them. One effective tactic is to fish large nymphs upstream dead drift in all of the pockets over three feet deep. My favorite flies are the Murray's Heavy Black Hellgrammite size 4, Murray's Heavy Olive Hellgrammite size 4 and Murray's Heavy Brown Hellgrammite size 4. Big Stoney Creek West of Edinburg is in good shape. Passage Creek is discolored and should be fishable by Saturday, April 29, 2017.
